Pro tips for best adhesion on masks & flexible surfaces

1. Prep thoroughly. Wash the piece, degrease with isopropyl alcohol, and lightly scuff if appropriate. Let the surface dry completely.
2. Use the “flex” mix. For highly flexible items, combine your Createx color with 5092 Flexible Additive; add 4030 Balancing Clear when extra adhesion is needed; then reduce with 4011/4021 to spray-ready viscosity.
3. Spray light coats. Build color in thin, even passes, allowing proper flash between coats to keep the film thin and flexible.
4. Cure before abuse. Give freshly painted pieces time to set (a full overnight or more, depending on conditions) before stretching or handling.
5. Protect the finish. For high-wear props, apply a compatible flexible clear (e.g., UV-stable intercoat/topcoat) after colors have dried to maximize durability.
