Tamiya Acrylic Paint Thinner - X-20A

Tamiya X-20A acrylic thinner is the perfect choice to thin Tamiya acrylic paint when spraying through an airbrush or cleaning bristle brushes. The formula within the thinner gives Tamiya acrylic paints the right consistency to blend colors without fading or spotting.

Tamiya acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush painting or air-brushing. These paints can be used on styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly, and can be blended easily. Prior to curing, paint can be washed away with plain water.

Versatile thinner!

Works great with my Ammo by MiG acrylic paints. Like Ammos thinner, Tamiyas thinner has an alcohol component (plus retarders) . I actually think Ammo paints shoot better using X20A compared to Ammos thinner. I thin 60/40, thinner to paint for base coats and 2:1 for detail stuff.

It's acrylic thinner and works well with all acrylic (both water and solvent mixed - i.e. Tamiya's) based paints. Also a great airbrush cleaner (when using acrylics).
