NO-NAME Silent Storm: The Ultimate Airbrush Compressor. Affordable. Powerful. Silent. Enjoy painting without distraction!

Perfect for those who want the quiet power of the silent storm air compressor with no extras, ready to share air with friends.

At SprayGunner, we believe that creativity should never be limited by your tools. Yet, for many airbrush artists, noise and space constraints have become constant barriers to creativity. Traditional compressors are often too loud to use in apartments or late at night. For many, the frustration of setting up a quiet workspace has forced them to give up on projects or stop airbrushing altogether.

We knew there had to be a better way. That's why we’re developing a revolutionary air compressor that’s compact, ultra-quiet, and powerful—everything artists need in a single package. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional, this compressor empowers you to create anytime, anywhere, without disturbing those around you.

We're launching two versions of the same product with optional bundles. Version 1 is what we call the "naked" appearance of the air compressor that has exposed air/oil channels and an air filter on the front side of it. It's great for maintenance access but can be damaged easily by someone walking by when the compressor is sitting on the floor. This is why we're coming up with Version 2 (available as an add-on), which will have a protective shell. We do not have a final layout for Version 2 yet, potentially considering placing the compressor's motor on top of 2 air tanks. Version 1 is undergoing multiple tests at our facility, and everything is going well so far. It is manufactured in China, and the first small batch is scheduled to be shipped in March, followed by a bigger batch in late April-May.

Specifications:

  • 110V Plug (standard for North America, 220V Plug available as add-on)
  • Power: 4/5HP
  • Auto stop: 8 Bar/116 PSI
  • Auto start: 5 Bar/72.5 PSI
  • Net Weight: 35.3 LBS (16kgs)
  • Tank Volume: 3.7L x 2
  • Air Flow: 52L/Min
  • Oil content: 200mL
  • Size: 33x28x37 cm
  • Noise Level: 40dB (comparable to a refrigerator)

*Every Silent Storm compressor comes standard with a 4-way splitter, an adjustable air regulator, and a moisture trap.

The Silent Storm Compressor can run the NO-NAME Brand MINIGUN in intervals of 15 minutes before it must cool down.

*If you purchase the Protective Case option, or the 220V option, your compressor will be in the second batch expected during late Summer 2025.*

Big Disappointment

Waited patiently for three months, it shows up and I was all excited. Watched the video twice to make sure I do things right. Got it on a Thursday, so it sat till Saturday. First Job I did was a smal Ban Dai Star Wars model, took about 20 minute to paint, using an Iwata Eclipse at 20 psi, worked well, used it for around 15 - 20 minutes. Made a noticable pop when it would start up, Just thought that was normal. Used it again Monday night, this time painting a 1/72 scale Airplane with an H&S Evolution again at 20 PSI. I primed with a rattle can so that wasn't part of the airbrush time. I did the first color, and cleaned the airbrush, about 10 minutes total. Second color and cleanup was about 10 minutes as well. There was about a half hour break between colors to mask the plane. after 15 - 20 minutes of taking off all the masking, I went to apply the 3rd color. After after spraying a bit the compressor kicked on, made quite an audible pop and stopped working.

Previous to buying the Silent Storm by NO-NAME, I had a Cool Tooty, which I loved and I regret selling it so fast. I should have hung on to it, because now I have NO comressor. And the phone numbers are all dead ends with invalid extensions for voicemail and customer support. They give you a secondary number for customer support that seems to be a dead end as well. Sent 2 emails, still waiting for a reply.

Spraygunner Customer Service (Follow up to 1 star review).

I left a 1 star review on a bad compressor I received. After a few technical glitches that have been fixed, I finally got in touch with customer support. Cory was a big help and resolved my issue. I am still waiting for the replacement to arrive. But rest assured, SprayGunner customer support is Grade A. Hopefully when the new Silent Storm compressor arrives, I'll be able to post a more favorable review. Thank you Cory and Spraygunner for the quick resolution of this issue.

This compressor is awesome!!
Super quite! Great quality! Only had it a week but it’s been great so far!
It’s so quiet when I turned it on for first time I had to check if it was running.

So very quiet

My original plan was to use my pancake compressor. But the noise was just too much. I wanted quiet and boy did I get it. My spray booth is way more noise than the Silent Storm. It's hard to overstate how quiet it is. You could run this compressor in the room with a sleeping baby and it wouldn't wake them. If you want quiet, look no further.
