ProAiir INK: Tattoo Pro Black
ProAiir Ink is a professional, alcohol-based temporary tattoo ink made in the USA with FDA-compliant ingredients. Certified skin-safe by an independent U.S. lab, it’s water-resistant and lasts up to 5 days. Sprays smoothly at 18–20 PSI without clogging or fogging. Contains shellac (a bee byproduct), not tested on animals. Removes easily with rubbing alcohol or baby oil.
Temporary Tattoo Ink is for tattoos only and is NOT for full face and body painting. Please use ProAiir Hybrid makeup for those applications.
Comes in 3 sizes: 4 oz, 8 oz, & 16 oz
How to Apply and Remove ProAiir INK Airbrush Body Paint
Application:
Apply ProAiir INK with an airbrush set between 10–15 PSI, or use a dry face-painting sponge or brush. For best results, apply directly to clean skin—do not apply over makeup, lotion, or sunscreen.
If airbrushing, always work in a well-ventilated area away from open flames. Hold the airbrush 2–4 inches from the skin for optimal color control. Apply in light, even layers, building up coverage gradually for richer color and depth. Heavy coats can cause chipping.
If over-spray occurs, gently remove it with rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab.
When applying with a sponge or brush, you can either:
-
Attach a spray cap to the bottle to mist your sponge, or
-
Pour a small amount into a plastic or metal palette to load your brush or sponge.
Because ProAiir INK is alcohol-based, it dries quickly, so only pour out what you need. Apply the paint immediately after loading your tool to prevent drying. For color blending, mix shades directly on your sponge or brush before application—once dry, the paint won’t blend easily on the skin.
Removal:
ProAiir INK is water-resistant and should be removed using an oil-based cleanser or 91% isopropyl alcohol. Let the remover sit on the skin for a moment to loosen the paint, then gently wipe with a sponge and soap and water.
For full-body applications, apply baby oil or another gentle oil and soak in a warm bath to help loosen the paint before washing.
To remove from fabric, do not use water. Instead, apply rubbing alcohol or an alcohol-based hair spray and dab the area carefully.
Airbrush Cleaning Tips
-
For routine cleaning, 91% rubbing alcohol works well. For deep cleaning, use denatured alcohol (the biodegradable green formula is recommended).
-
Spray denatured alcohol through your airbrush, perform a front spray and back flush, then slightly withdraw the needle and tighten it.
-
Store the airbrush tip-down in a jar containing about one inch of rubbing alcohol to keep the nozzle submerged.
-
After painting, leaving the airbrush in alcohol prevents product from drying inside until you can clean it thoroughly at home.
What Are ProAiir INK Colors Best For?
ProAiir INK Tattoo Pro Black, created under the direction of artist Wiser Oner, offers a bold, bluish-black tone that mimics real tattoo ink.
ProAiir INK colors are ideal for creating long-lasting, water-resistant designs such as monsters, zombies, aliens, animals, and beauty effects. They’re perfect for pool parties, dance events, cosplay, haunted attractions, theater, and body art competitions.
These inks are also excellent for temporary tattoos, lasting up to several days with proper application. Loved by cosplayers, haunters, dance troupes, makeup artists, and both beginners and professionals, ProAiir INK provides unmatched durability and color performance.
Additional Airbrush & Stencil Tips
-
To clean stencils, soak them in 91% alcohol for 30–60 minutes, then rinse and dry.
-
Because ProAiir INK is thin, residue buildup is minimal—some artists rarely need to clean stencils at all.
-
Do not over-oil your airbrush. Lightly oil only after about 20 uses or as needed, using airbrush oil only to avoid spattering.
Special Notes:
-
Do not mix ProAiir INK with water or other products.
-
Fluorescent colors may separate slightly—shake or stir before use.
-
If pigment separation occurs, back-flush the airbrush to mix (only if familiar with the technique).
-
Metallic shades have slightly shorter wear time.
-
Apply white first when layering over darker colors for best opacity.
-
Shake bottles well before each use; richer pigments may be more durable and harder to remove.
-
Adding a stainless steel mixing ball inside the bottle helps maintain even consistency.
-
Use plastic bottles rather than glass—glass can break or cause faster product evaporation.
