Instructions
Prep Surfaces
Thoroughly clean to remove old waxes, sealers, tar, iron, and other contaminants. Embedded contaminants should be removed with a clay bar/glove and non-waxed lubricant. Remove scratches with a non-waxed/non-sealant compound and polish the surface to remove defects. Wipe all surfaces with American Icon R-S200 Surface Cleaner or an IPA prep solution for ceramic coatings.
How to apply
Shake well before and during use. Saturate the low nap microfiber towel a suede applicator or similar with numerous drops of material from the dripper bottle. Apply the coating to a 3x3 ft square area of the vehicle using a cross-hatch pattern with slight overlap to level the product. Allow the coating to cure for 1-2 minutes and gently remove excess product using a clean low nap microfiber towel or suede cloth. Do NOT allow coating to come in contact with water for 24-48 hours while curing - if it does, remove water promptly. Apply additional coats with at least one hour between applications or immediately following a single pass around the vehicle. Do NOT apply in direct sunlight or to a hot surface. Cure time is dependent on environmental conditions - test product on a small inconspicuous area first to gauge cure time. Wait 7 days after application to wash vehicles.
Maintenance
Use American Icon Graphene Ceramic Refresh Spray to Boost and maintain the Graphene Ceramic Coating 1140 Pro after every wash and polish.
Mirka Galaxy 6" Grip Multifit Discs
The ceramic grains of the Galaxy are engineered not to dull, as once the edge of the abrasive grain breaks off it simply forms new edges, making it possible for the Galaxy to continue cutting – from edge to edge. The self-sharpening ceramic grains allow for a winning combination of long life, fast cut and easy polishability. Thanks to the optimized Multifit hole configuration, the abrasive is always correctly placed on any machine without the need to specifically align it. At its core, the Mirka Galaxy is a multi purpose product, suitable for the sanding of both soft and hard materials as well as various substrates. Superb edge wear resistance, excellent clogging resistance, dust repellent coating, and optimal dust extraction - the Mirka Galaxy serve well in the automotive sector, in vehicle manufacturing, collision repair, marine production as well as in the wood sector.
