Max Verstappen’s Nürburgring-Winning Ferrari 296 GT3

Max Verstappen and Chris Lulham drove the #31 Emil Frey Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 to victory in the ninth round of the 2025 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie.

The four-hour race was held on the Nürburgring Nordschleife as the 57th running of the ADAC Barbarossapreis. Verstappen started the race from third position and moved into the lead during the opening part of the event.

Verstappen.com and Red Bull Racing Livery

The Version C kit represents the Ferrari 296 GT3 in the Verstappen.com and Red Bull-inspired racing presentation used for the Nürburgring event.

The livery combines dark body colors with red, blue, yellow, white, and sponsor graphics across the bodywork, rear wing, doors, hood, and aerodynamic surfaces.

Dedicated Version C Racing Decals

The kit includes decals prepared for the Version C Nürburgring winner configuration. These markings reproduce the race number, sponsor logos, driver names, team graphics, and other printed details associated with the #31 car.

Review the decal placement guide before beginning the body finish. Several markings cross vents, panel lines, wheel arches, and curved aerodynamic surfaces.

Ferrari 296 GT3 Aerodynamic Bodywork

The competition-developed body features a deep front splitter, widened fenders, sculpted side channels, multiple cooling openings, a large rear wing, and an extended rear diffuser.

Test-fit the splitter, wing supports, diffuser, body panels, and smaller aerodynamic components before painting so the fit and alignment can be corrected before the final finish is applied.

Full Resin Construction

The main body, cockpit, wheels, and structural components are produced in resin. Resin casting allows the widened racing body, vents, cockpit, body openings, and aerodynamic parts to carry crisp shapes and fine surface detail.

Wash and inspect the resin components before assembly. Dry-fit the body, interior, wheels, glazing, splitter, diffuser, rear wing, and smaller components before applying primer, paint, or adhesive.

Photo-Etched Parts and Carbon-Fiber Details

Photo-etched metal parts are included for thin components that benefit from sharply defined edges. Carbon-fiber markings are supplied for selected aerodynamic, cockpit, and exterior surfaces.

Use adhesive suitable for joining metal to resin and test decal solutions before applying carbon-fiber patterns over curved or irregular components.

Detailed Competition Cockpit

The cockpit includes the driver-focused components associated with the Ferrari 296 GT3, including the racing seat, dashboard, steering controls, safety equipment, interior panels, and structural details.

Paint and detail the cockpit as a separate subassembly before installing it inside the completed body.

Wheels, Tires and Ride Height

The kit includes wheel components for recreating the racing stance of the #31 Ferrari. Clean and test-fit the wheels before painting or final assembly.

Check the track width, wheel alignment, and ride height during dry assembly so all four wheels sit evenly on the display surface.

Clear Parts and Glazing

Clear parts are included for the windscreen, windows, and transparent lighting components.

Trim and test-fit all clear parts before finishing the body. Use a clear-part-safe adhesive during final assembly to reduce the risk of fogging or surface damage.

Body Preparation and Painting

Check the resin body for mold-release residue, casting seams, and small imperfections before primer is applied. Use a resin-compatible primer to establish a stable foundation for the multi-color racing finish.

Plan the body colors, carbon-fiber areas, sponsor decals, and clear coat as separate stages. A smooth gloss surface will help the larger racing decals settle cleanly and reduce visible carrier film.

Decal Application and Clear Coat

Apply decals only after the body colors have cured fully. Use decal setting solutions carefully around vents, panel edges, wing surfaces, and compound curves.

Allow the decals to dry completely before applying clear coat. Test the selected clear coat over an unused decal section before coating the completed body.
