Cordless Compressor Kit with BD-180 Airbrush - 2024 Model

The new 2024 model brings upgrades and versatility to cordless airbrushing! Featuring 2 rechargeable batteries and the BD-180 airbrush with an air regulator as standard, this kit provides full control over air pressure, letting you achieve precision and finesse in your projects.

Why Choose Our Cordless Airbrush Compressor Kit?

Unlike many options on the market that promise unrealistic specifications, we deliver honest performance with innovative features. We’ve tested numerous models and identified common issues, such as short runtime, overheating, and single-action designs that lack control. Here's what makes this kit different:

  • Auto On/Off Functionality: No need to press a power button repeatedly. The compressor automatically activates when you press the airbrush trigger for air and stops when you release it. For paint flow, simply pull the trigger back—just like using any professional-grade double-action airbrush.

  • Long Battery Life: With two batteries, you can work continuously by charging one while using the other. Each battery provides over 30 minutes of constant runtime or up to 1.5-2 hours of practical use during typical airbrushing sessions with pauses for cleaning and color changes.

  • Reliable Performance:

    • Static pressure: Up to 32 PSI.
    • Operating pressure: 20-25 PSI, delivering 8-9 LPM airflow.
    • Best suited for gravity-feed airbrushes with a 0.4mm nozzle or smaller.
  • Compact and Portable: Weighing just 7 ounces, this compressor is lightweight, making it perfect for small projects or on-the-go touch-ups. Despite its compact size, it handles extended use without overheating.

  • Convenient Charging: Equipped with a Type-C USB charging port, it’s compatible with most modern charging cables, so you won’t need to worry about losing the specific cord.

  • Clear LED Indicator: Stay informed about the battery level to avoid interruptions.

  • Durable Design: Includes a 1-Year Limited Warranty for peace of mind.

Ideal for Every Level and Industry

This cordless airbrush kit is perfect for beginners exploring airbrushing, offering a budget-friendly solution to get started. It’s also an excellent secondary compressor for professionals working on large-scale projects, murals, or fine details. Keep it handy for touch-ups, like fixing a small scratch on an artwork, and you’ll appreciate its portability and convenience.

Included in the Kit

  • BD-180 Airbrush with adjustable air regulator.
  • Two rechargeable batteries for uninterrupted work.
  • Cordless Compressor with honest specs and a reliable build.
  • 1-Year Limited Warranty for quality assurance.

Excellent Airbrusher (for begginers)

This is an excellent entry product to this world of pressure brushing. It's easy to use. Can be handled easily as its small and light weight. Does its job very well, but may let you down if you need to work with extremely precise airbrushing.

Beginner Airbrush

Purchased this as my first airbrush, and after some patience and flow aid, this brush gave really solid output. I get decent control over my paint and it's convenient with the rechargeable compressor.

Nice setup for the price

This is my intro to airbrushing while I save for a nice, silent compressor from Sil-Air. Unfortunately my nice Badger airbrush will not work with this because of how the compressor operates, but other brushes that match this fitting size should work fine such as the ones listed in the description.

The packaging is nice - nothing was damaged in shipping. Everything seems to be working as intended and boy is this thing quiet. The air pressure won't blow your socks off but it works. It may be slow for laying down say a primer across a large surface. But with some patience and practice this will do just fine for my scale modeling needs.

I am removing 1 star from my review for quality control. The trigger on this airbrush did not quite push the button down far enough to activate the compressor. You will need to find a way to add some material to the end of the trigger so that it can press the button on the compressor fully. I put some super glue on mine and let it dry, and that was enough to get the button to activate when I push the trigger.

I also had an issue with paint not flowing correctly with the .2mm needle/nozzle combo that came on the gun. I am new to airbrushing but I did follow some disassembly and reassembly guides to test, and nothing got it working right. I swapped to the .3mm nozzle and needle and now paint is flowing just fine.

Overall, this could be a great way to get started with an airbrush, especially if you need to be quiet in an apartment or to save space.
