0.45mm Complete Head and Needle for Harder & Steenbeck Evolution 2024 Airbrushes

I replaced the original needle, nozzle, and cap on my Ultra 2024 to make clearing tip dry easier. Big improvement, wish I had done this earlier; H&S should drop the over protective Ultra cap.

I ordered a 4.5 needle head set kit from H&S to upgrade the tip of my 24'Ultra. Everything fit and there is an improvement in ease of cleaning of tip dry with the new head. If in the future, if I buy the H&S evolution I will purchase the the single needle version with the 2.8 mm head set.

.I also ordered the the needle tip kits in the Pro line of Badger Patriot upgrades. I purchase the extra fine,fine and medium tip/needle kits. These all fit and performed as expected. Badger is much more manageable to tune up, in price, as compared to H&S.

Overall you get more bang for your buck with Badger vs H&S. The finish is nicer on the H&S. Badger is more versatile than the Ultra. Both deliver good spray patterns and final finishes.

I acquired an Evolution 2024 with a damaged nozzle. I chose to replace the front parts as I did not know what else might be damaged. I am glad I did, as I found the front cap was inoperable. Spray gunner is my go to for airbrushes and parts. The package arrived quickly and undamaged.

Love the way this needle delivers the paint in a higher volume. My evolution came with a .28 mm needle, which is great for fine work and the .45 mm needle is great for a larger coverage.

Harder & Steenbeck parts are of excellent quality and machining. The Evolution airbrush is one of the best all around brushes on the market today.
