Transparent Candy Color for Layered Effects

candy2o colors are concentrated, water-based transparent dye colors. Unlike opaque paint, the underlying base remains visible through the candy layer, allowing metallic and reflective surfaces to contribute to the finished appearance.

• 100% transparent color: Designed to preserve the visual character of the base underneath.
• Layered color development: Additional coats progressively build a darker and more saturated candy color.
• Metallic-base effects: Candy colors can be applied over suitable silver, metallic, pearl, and other reflective grounds.

Choosing a Createx candy2o Set

The right set depends on the number of colors needed, the type of finish being created, and whether supporting products are already part of the painter's setup.

• Choose a Complete or Master Set when a wider transparent color range is needed for custom mixing and varied projects.

Mixing candy2o for Airbrush Application

candy2o is a concentrated color system and is not intended to be treated like a conventional ready-to-spray opaque paint. Createx currently recommends mixing candy2o with 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear as the carrier for airbrush application.

• General airbrush starting mix: Approximately 1 part 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear to 1 part candy2o.
• Reduction: 4011 Reducer may be added after mixing when additional thinning is needed for the airbrush and spray conditions.
• Color buildup: Apply controlled layers and build the candy color gradually to the desired depth.
• Application guidance: Follow the current Createx technical data for the selected kit, equipment, substrate, and finishing system.
