TAMIYA PLASTIC SCRIBER II

This scribing tool works great. It is sharp and allows the weight of the tool to do the work, which is the best way to achieve a smooth line. The blade is retractable and has a knob to tighten it down for movement free use. It comes with two extra blades in a compartment in the handle with room for a few more from a refill pack. The blades are strong and will last a long time if used on plastic and similar material. The blade will cut around a .75mm channel as a rough estimate, perfect for 1:24 vehicles and 1:12 motorcycles. It will also make quick work of scoring through styrene sheets and model body cutouts. It's a must-have tool.
