Crystal effect didn’t work

Tried the crystal effect on my fairing for my bike and it did not crystallize at ALL. I sanded, primed, sealed, layed my silver base coat, allowed it to dry for about 30 mins then tried the spray method on half then the wipe method of the other half and both came out just like a granite effect lol then after that dried sprayed my extra reduced black base on then wet grey pad the everything to get the coating off then layed candy then clear. Very disappointing with how much time was involved for it to not be as crystal as was expecting.

No crystals

I've tried wiping with micro fiber... No crystals, I've tried airbrushing.... No crystals... Maybe spraygunners next video on YouTube can be how this works.
