Awesome airbrush for Duracoat and Cerakote

Posted by AZ Joe on May 18, 2021

I have been using the .6 needle when I paint using Duracoat and Cerakote. I haven't had any issues so far. I clean my airbrush after each use. Amelia handled my shipment and everything came to me quickly and packed very well. Glad my airbrush is made in the USA. Thanks SprayGunner.

Great quality and performance can’t say anything bad about it love how the needles and caps and needles have groves for different sizes

The product arrived safe and sound, it was well packaged and shipping to Ireland was very reasonable. Customer service was great, when I made a mistake with my order Alex made sure I got sorted out without any trouble. All in all a very positive experience.

    first airbrush

this was suggested to me by a friend with a lot of airbrush experience. so far its been great. really easy to use as a novice, and has a extra needles for finer and wider spraying. rather than buying a starter airbrush I'll quickly outgrow, this one will grow with me. only hiccup so far is having to borrow a compressor. finding one that has the right fittings was tricky since we cant just go to the store and figure out right now. highly recommended.

Like the flexibility a lot. Wish there were a .5 mm tip . Do they or someone else make it?

Still learning the two action but love the air brush. Don't know how I got by with the H model all these years.

    The Talon Has No Claws

    Posted by seven0diecast on Feb 10, 2019

I have had an airbrush in my hands since I was about 10 years old—a single action Badger connected to a can of compressed air. I have painted racing helmets, fine art, RC car bodies, sneakers... you name it. I figured that the history of Chicago-based Paache and the lifespan of my trusty old workhorse VL was reason enough to choose the Talon over the more expensive Iwata airbrushes. I was wrong. This is a C grade airbrush, unfortunately. The build quality of the Talon is just ok. The finishes are fine, the weight is heavy, but the feel of the trigger and the lack of smoothness is really a letdown. It's notchy and clumsy, and the trigger flops around like it's on a hinge without any spring resistance. My 35 year old VL is smoother than this Talon. I have used mine only for shooting clearcoats, because the cup is SO large, but I will probably clean everything up and put it up on eBay with the plan to replace it with an Iwata. I guess the time I have spent with my very old Thayer & Chandler has spoiled me. I don't think I will be buying any more Paache products.
