Studio Pro Tip: Realistic Tank Track Workflow
For a convincing track finish, start with Dark Brown RLM61 mixed with a little Black as the base. Once dry, add Rust selectively into recesses and around older metal areas instead of covering the whole track evenly. Then dry-brush Gun Metal only on raised contact points, cleats, guide teeth, and sprocket wear areas.
