Thanks to its strength, it can also be used to secure joints while glue acts or as a guideline when engraving details on the plastic. It can be easily cut with scissors or even directly with a sharp blade on the model.

Ammo by Mig Masking Tape 2mmX25

You can buy 3 rolls of the same type of tape on Amazon for the same price.
Same tape except they don't call it 2mm. they call it 1/16 of an inch. The Mig is actually 2mm. There is the size difference which may or may not be an issue.
The Tamiya paint is pretty tough and was allowed to dry for 2 days. All in all tape did it's job ... Tamiya tape was found to pull a bit at the paint no matter how long it had set.
