YouCAN by Jacquard - Refillable Air Powered Spray Can
Transform any liquid into a professional-grade aerosol spray with the world’s first refillable air-powered canister. Jacquard’s YouCAN provides the familiar look and feel of a traditional spray can but with the freedom to use any liquid medium over and over again. This innovative tool eliminates the need for expensive, wasteful disposables by allowing you to pressurize the vessel using a standard bike pump or air compressor.
The YouCAN is the ultimate eco-friendly solution for artists and DIYers, operating without harmful chemical propellants or solvents. Because it relies on compressed air, it can be used indoors without the toxic fumes associated with traditional aerosol paints.
Why Choose the YouCAN Refillable Spray System?
-
Endless Versatility: Compatible with fabric dye, acrylics, oil paints, watercolors, varnishes, alcohol inks, primers, and even cleaners.
-
Sustainable Design: A continuously reusable system that prevents empty can disposal and reduces your environmental footprint.
-
Adapt-Air Technology: Includes a bonus coupling that can be used to rescue leftover material from old aerosol cans that have lost their internal pressure.
-
Cost-Effective: Stop buying expensive individual spray cans and start creating your own custom mixes from bulk paints and mediums.
Technical Specifications & Safety
To ensure consistent performance and safety with the Jacquard YouCAN, strictly adhere to these technical limits:
| Feature | Requirement |
| Maximum Pressure | Do NOT exceed 100 PSI |
| Fill Capacity | Fill maximum 1/3 full (to allow for air volume) |
| Charging Method | Bike pump or air compressor via Adapt-Air coupling |
| Compatibility | Standard aerosol spray caps (interchangeable) |
| Maintenance | Depressurize fully before opening the collar |
Operation Instructions
-
Fill: Fill the can precisely 1/3 full with your chosen fluid. Overfilling will result in poor spray performance and limited air capacity.
-
Assemble: Insert the valve gasket and valve, then securely screw on the collar to create an airtight seal.
-
Pressurize: * Charge: Insert the Adapt-Air coupling into the valve and connect to your air source.
-
Inflation: Use a compressor or manual pump to reach the desired pressure (Max 100 PSI). Remove the coupling.
-
-
Spray: Attach the included spray cap or any standard cap of your choice and begin your project.
Expert Usage Tips
-
Cleaning is Key: To ensure longevity, flush the can and spray cap with water or the appropriate solvent immediately after use to prevent paint from drying in the valve.
-
Pressure Release: When you finish spraying, invert the can and press the cap to release the remaining air before attempting to loosen the collar.
-
Customization: Swap out different aerosol "nozzles" (fat caps, skinnies, or calligraphy caps) to change the spray pattern and flow rate.
