Createx Scenix Adhesion Promoter 7040 is a water-based acrylic-urethane primer designed to make paint adhere to even the most challenging surfaces. Ideal for use on plastic, rubber, glass, foam, latex, 3D print composites, and more, this adhesion promoter is the perfect surface prep solution when working with Createx paints.

Formulated to create a superior bond to almost any substrate (excluding silicone), 7040 eliminates the need for surface scuffing and ensures reliable paint adhesion across a wide range of creative and industrial applications.

Application Instructions:

1. Thinning is not required, but 7040 may be thinned with 4011 Reducer. Add 5%-10% per volume as needed. 
2. Allow reduced mix 10+ minutes to acclimate before spraying. 
3. Best applied with a spray-gun with a 1.3mm-1.4mm tip size. 
4. Apply 1-2 medium coats, each 0.5-0.75 mil thick wet.
5. Allow 10 to 20 minute re-coat time.
6. Apply Createx paints 20 minutes to 24 hours after application.
