I used to dislike Ammo paints, and struggled to spray them easily, when following Ammo's instructions. However, once I found you can thin these paints with lacquer thinner or Mr. Levelling Thinner, they spray much better and easier. You do have to apply them in thin layers, building up a coat slowly. And, I find the paint does work best with a primer with some tooth, so it doesn't bead up. The paints are a bit thin for hand painting, though. For airbrush use, they are good once you get the feel of them, and ammo offers a very wide range of colors and shades of colors, so you don't have to mix.

I really like the Ammo by Mig Acrylics. A little finicky as are all pure acrylics but my living space doesn't allow for lacquer paints or thinners. The colors are great for airbrush and hand brush, and I hate mixing to just the right color - prefer just picking one that is closest. Russell packaged everything great and Spraygunner can't be beat!
