Mr.Surfacer 1000 contains finer granules than Mr.Surfacer 500. They are both used in much the same way but, due to the finer granules after sanding with waterproof sand-paper , a perfectly corrected surface is possible. Available in bottle and aerosol.

  • Shake well before using, and during use
  • Hold can 10-12 inches from surface
  • Spray with multiple thin layers
  • Do not stop in middle of surface

Good stuff~

This primer seems to be the primer of choice for most artists who make resin ball jointed dolls. This is what I plan to use it for, and I am very happy with it so far. I test sprayed it in fairly low temperatures, and while it was very humid out, but it still went on and dried very well, so that is fantastic, as I can't always spray it in a warm, dry environment due to my location. It seems to have a very even spray, and an immaculate finish, so I apparently have nothing to nitpick. :)
