Review of Citadel Colour Contrast : Ratling Grime

This contrasting ink colour is an almost black gray when applied and gives a great finish to properly zenithal primed weapons and armor.

This creates a great starting point on parts of a model like this, and when thinned with a little of the proprietary medium, creates the highlights and shadows that only require a little edge of metallic paint to make these details 'Pop'.

I also use this heavily thinned down on hand sculpted dungeon bases to create the initial base and shade coat to the stonework on the fantasy pieces I tackle in such a manner.
