MCW Mild Lacquer Thinner MLT 16oz

Easy to use thinner that seems to work with everything.

I mixed it with several different acrylic pants and did not react at all. Was able to get a lawyer style coverage with minimal smell. Work great with createx wicked color pants.

If you use hobby paints, you may have come across a known line of leveling thinners that are generally regarded as the best...WHEN YOU CAN FIND THEM. They're always sold out.

SprayGunner's description for this product even says it's a "replacement for hard-to-find leveling thinners". And it is! You get 470ml in the bottle vs 400ml in the other brand for about a buck more, which is a slightly better value. But does it work? Yes, it does.

In my return to model building I've used lacquers so far mainly from spray cans so I don't need a thinner for that, but I also use a Tamiya brush-on lacquer surface primer. The MCW lacquer thinner worked great for cleaning the brush, took the primer right off, fast and easy. Given this, I would expect it to also thin very well for other lacquer paints and for airbrushing.

I'm not sure why they call it "mild" as it smells just as strong as other lacquers and it works just as well. Thank you SprayGunner for giving us an affordable alternative.
