Color!

The thought process behind the color choice/mixing presented is a huge draw. The graphics are high quality, and there are a lot of them. The English translation leaves something to be desired at times, but ultimately I don’t believe it detracts from the value of this book as a learning aid and reference material.

Lots of useful information

Have had the book for about two weeks as of this review. As an intermediate painter I have found this book very useful for taking my painting to the next level. I appreciate the organized layout where I can zero in on what I am painting at the moment whether it be leather, white cloth, skin tones, etc. One of the best books on mini painting available right now and I would recommend it to anyone at any level that wants to improve their painting.
