Welcome to SprayGunner's Hobbyists Arsenal International Online (Scale Model, Figure, and Fine Art) Painting Competition 2025!
We’re proud to support these wonderful hobbies enjoyed by people around the world, a source of connection, friendship, and joy among individuals united by a shared passion.
To participate in this contest, please follow a few simple rules listed below:

Submit a minimum of five (5) photos of your model completed. One of the pictures must have a SprayGunner card/sticker/t-shirt anything physical you have with our logo (no Photoshop magic, please).

All participating models must be finished in 2025. Yes, you could enter if you started building your model in 2020 and finished it earlier this year (2025). *Please note that your model can be disqualified from the competition if it was spotted online or competed in local events prior to 2025. One model can compete only in one category.
We have (2) Divisions (Beginner and Experienced) and (9) Categories in each:
The Beginner Division is designed for young painters and brand-new hobbyists who are just starting their creative journey.
The Experienced Division is geared toward painters who are actively developing their skills and artistic voice. This division is ideal for hobbyists involved in their local painting communities, those who regularly enter competitions, and established artists returning to the hobby after some time away. Please note that if you previously won our contests, you will automatically be qualified as “Experienced”. Please give a chance to new guy to win something as well. Prizes for “Experienced” are also larger 😉
There are nine categories listed below. When posting a model, please mention which category. One project can enter only one category, so choose wisely!
The Categories:
1. Planes and aviation.
2. Civil vehicles, cars, and motorcycles
3. Gundam, and Mecha
4. Military and armored vehicles
5. Figures, Science Fiction, and Fantasy
6. Sea, any vehicle or composition on water
7. Warhammer
8. Scratch built/kitbash *
9. Fine Art/Other
* For Category 8. Scratch-built/kitbash; please submit photos proving it is made from scratch.
If your model qualifies in two or more categories, we will select the one that fits best.
The deadline to submit your model is December 31st, 2025 (EST). Enough time to build something for the contest, which we highly encourage, and we will be happy to share your process on our pages!
To enter the contest, please upload it with the required pictures (see below). Use hashtags #SprayGunner #SGcontest2025 #hobbyistsarsenal for social media posts so we can see them and repost. Tag @spraygunner
Posting online but not uploading does NOT count as an entry.

Important: Please keep it between 5 and 10 pictures! Don’t send too many. If you send over 10, we will have to filter what we think is most suitable.

The Judges will be announced as we proceed towards the end of the year.
It will take time to organize judges in early 2026, after all the holidays, so please bear with us. We will announce the winners on or before January 15th.

Beginner Division (per category):
1st Place: Hobbyists Arsenal Gold Medal and $50 SprayGunner.com gift card.
2nd Place: Hobbyists Arsenal Silver Medal and $40 SprayGunner.com gift card.
3rd Place: Hobbyists Arsenal Bronze Medal and $30 SprayGunner.com gift card.
Experienced Division (per category):
1st Place: Hobbyists Arsenal Gold Medal and $100 SprayGunner.com gift card.
2nd Place: Hobbyists Arsenal Silver Medal and $75 SprayGunner.com gift card.
3rd Place: Hobbyists Arsenal Bronze Medal and $50 SprayGunner.com gift card.
Best in Show:
Will receive a special prize from our sponsor.

Creative Award

*Please note that we want to have more people inspired and participate in this wonderful hobby, so if you submit multiple models in different categories, we highly appreciate it, but after getting a gold with any of them, the rest of your entries in that category will be excluded from the competition. Please keep that in mind when placing multiple entries.
*If a Category has fewer than 10 entries, it will be merged with another Category within the same Division that shares similar themes (ex., Sea into Military, Kitbash into Sci Fi, etc.).
FB Group Favorite will be chosen by votes (likes) in the contest album that we will put on January 3rd in our FB Hobbyists’ Arsenal group. It’s a closed group, so we will try to keep the bots away as best we can.
