Could be better but nice job

Obviously, bicycle models are few and far between, so am grateful for this product. Main bicycle components such as the frame, fork, crank and derailleur etc., are resin, while the chain, sprockets etc. are photoetched. Tires are rubber or rubberlike material. Nice touches such as separate etched parts for the rear sprockets, front derailleur where the cage is actually a cage, along with a bike stand are nice touches. However, I was a bit disappointed by the decals which perhaps can be judged as adequate, but barely so. Resolution is lacking, and wished they contracted with Cartograph. Additionally, while the wheels are OK, and preassembled, the spokes are just wires attached with CA and thus are prone to breakage during shipping. Mine had 4 that had come off. Valve stem is included but wished that the spokes had nipples. I will be adding them myself later. Instructions are pictures of various versions that can be built and serves as a parts placement guide with no text instructions. Final comment is on the chain, while there is adequate detail on the front side, the rear is just flat with no pin detail. Will try to add with a drill or something. I did buy a second model in the series, and think I will be please with the results. Hopefully, more variety will be offered in the future.
