This compressor is suitable for commercial spraying, cosmetics, nail studios and Tattoo designs, illustrations, hobbies modelling, fishing lures and much more. The AS-186A is a great compressor at the price including a 3L air tank to help deliver consistent airflow and stop the pulsations that tankless compressors often deliver. The AS-186A also comes with a metal protective case keeping the compressor and tank safe.

Picked this up about a year ago and have been using it weekly since. It's a great and sturdy little compressor. Holds a good amount of air in the tank. Moisture trap and regulator are nice to have added on. I needed to get an adaptor for my 1/8 Iwata hose but everything fit perfectly, no air leaks once sealed off with teflon tape. Only minor gripe is the pressure release valve is a bit hard to reach through the enclosure. I tied a shoe string to the pull ring for it and now it's no problem to empty the tank when done. Highly recommended and great value.
I upgraded from a Iwata Ninja Jet, and what a world of difference, runs quieter, cooler, with more air volume and available pressure, kicks on and off at appropriate pressures (the Ninja runs constantly and bleeds excess air though a check valve), and can keep up with the volume requirements my airbrushing sessions can demand. Only thing to note is I have the unit set up about 15’ from my paint station, and must run a second water trap at my desk to control condensation that builds in the line as the compressed air cools (this is something any compressor in this setup would need and not specific to this machine). This is the unit I recommend to anyone looking at getting into airbrushing.
I have been using this compressor for a few weeks now, and it has really impressed me as far as I have used it. It is quiet, it has a nice capacity as far as not running all the time, and I haven't had any issues with moisture since I got it.
I am very happy with this compressor. Quality is top-notch. It provides very stable airflow and the noise level is very low. It is just as good as "name brand" compressors at a much lower price. I could not be happier. Thanks!!!
A good buy, but the pop off valve is difficult to reach, my only complaint
