Recknor, the relentless. Recknor arrived in the border town of Varenheim and soon became the county’s senior blacksmith. His increasingly demanding presence in the capital forced him to spend long periods of time away from his family.

When Varenheim was under siege, Recknor begged his lord to free the city in order to save his beloved ones. The duke complied with his duty, but after taking precautions, it was too late for many citizens, including the Recknor family.

When he found out, he armed himself and broke through the throne hall, killing everybody who opposite him, until he took the life of the duke. “You only had to take up arms and fight, my lord”.

Sadly, nobody was alive to learn one’s lesson.
