For over 50 years, I have thinned my enamel model paints and washes with straight, hardware store, Mineral Spirits. Especially for airbrush use, it works fine. But, some of the Ammo by Mig enamel Washes and Filters can use some thinning, and the hardware store Mineral Spirits can be too harsh over paint and plastic. The Ammo thinner is pretty good, and more inert. I suspect it's refined more than the hardware store thinner. So, it's odorless and less aggressive, but also doesn't seem to work as well as far as cutting the paint. It isn't bad, and it works with Ammo's enamel products, but it's fairly expensive for a small bottle and I use it only when absolutely required. Sort of a necessary evil.

Love this thinner to thin down my oil paint for weathering. Does a great job and has a decent drying time. I bought 2 bottles because I go through so much of it. Great price from spraygunner again!

Great for removing panel line residue.

A great product to have if you have lots of ammo products, also nice due to lack of smell.

A must have thinner especially with MIG products. Wipes away blow outs and very smooth with MIG oil brushes and it don't stink
