First of all, Spray-gunner has a very good web site that is user friendly, thanks guy's. Since finding out that most WWII enamel paints are not being made, for whatever reasons the manufactures ceased production, I've been trying different acrylics; Mission Models being one of them. It is taking a bit to change the style of painting with this paint, but I'm getting the hang of it. What I really like about the paint is the color and consistency of the paint when dry. It is the most true color I've seen to date. One thing I'm confused about is how to get the paint ready for spraying. MM says in a video that their paint is ready to use right out of the bottle; I disagree. I followed their recipe and the paint just would not come out of my airbrush, even at 35 psi. (Well a small amount did to be honest.) After thinning to about 80% paint and 20% thinner it went on just fine. For all the planet huggers I encourage you to try Mission Model paints; you may be surprised.
