Aero Color Professional Candy colors are highly transparent and brilliant with the ability to provide a strong depth and range of color. They mix beautifully and artists working with ink or watercolor, as well as illustrators, will appreciate the array of shades you can produce from just a few colors without any mudding of the mixes. They are ideal for bold, bright pieces and while their transparency means you can both use a pen on top of a wash once it’s dry or layer a wash on top of an earlier pen drawing, you can also build up layers to make the paint opaque. They use a binder and are water and pigment based. If you want the inks to flow easily, we recommend using acrylic paper or slightly damp watercolor paper.

Like the rest of the Aero Color range, these acrylics can be applied using airbrushes, liners and brushes; they can be used with any of Schmincke's airbrush mediums or Aero Color paints.

Each color comes in 28ml glass bottle with a pipette lid.

AERO COLOR^® Professional stands for ideal working properties. AERO COLOR^® Professional colours have a pleasant odour, are easy to use and can be used on most grease-free surfaces. All colours are ready for use. Due to their finest pigmentation, they can be used pure but can also be diluted with AERO MEDIUM or with water.

All colours come in 28 ml jars, 24 colours are also available in plastic 250 ml and 5 primary colours are available also in 1000 ml jars for artists using large quantities.

AERO COLOR^® Professional adheres particularly well to all sorts of papers and cardboards as well as the usual, non-absorbent surfaces such as film, hard plastics and – after appropriate preliminary treatment – metal. The colours are easy to mask and excellent for graphic designs and special airbrush techniques.

AERO COLOR^® Professional dries semi-matt, is water-resistant and is easy to reproduce.
