I collect airbrushes - can't afford a Mercedes. I have Harder-Steenbeck, Paasche, Badger, Iwata - 8 altogether. Saw the review for the Procon on Flory and bought it. I'm a fan of "black basing" which means you have to "paint small." The Procon puts anything else I have to shame for this purpose - It's the best detail brush I have. I'm sure for general purpose it's fine, but I've got other brushes for that. The only con with the Procon is cleaning. It's not hard - but the nozzle is very thin and it is delicate. But if you're careful, it actually goes very fast - small nozzles clean easily, and the seals are so good that the needle is dirty only near the tip. For this price, this brush is a steal. I don't know if the "Platinum" is worth the extra $15 - I'd buy an extra nozzle and their cleaning kit. I could throw all my brushes away and keep this and my Iwata HP-CS Eclipse and I'd have everything covered.

Very smooth action. It has some weight to it which l like, l do taxidermy and l like the weight to keep me aware of holding my airbrush straight. With fish taxidermy the bends on the fish you have a tendency to tip the airbrush to the contour of the fish. It lays dots and shades beautifully.
