I just acquired my 3rd PS-290. Needless to say I like them very much. You can get a lot of coverage quickly and the fan cap lets you get the proper overlap with pearls, metallics and clear coats helping to eliminate "Tiger Striping." I guess I need a 4th for priming.

Love Mr Hobby Airbrushes

After using various cheaper and used airbrushes and being disappointed in my skill, I did some research and it seems these airbrushes are made almost exactly to Iwata specs so I got one hoping to improve my game. Boy howdy is it ever night and day!? You won't be disappointed in the quality here. And I love the double action of the trigger pull. Air first, then paint. You can feel where it starts applying paint so you can control even the lowest flow. Also LOVE the huge and removable paint cup for applying paint and primers to larger surfaces.

This is by far the best airbrush I ever owned I build 1/24-25 scale model cars and it’s a dream to paint/clearcoat them with this The fan cap also works great for painting or clearcoating , I liked it so much i bought a second one!!it’s my go to airbrush!
