Mit diesem Set kann der Modellbauer britische Fahrzeuge von 1939 bis 1945 an der europäischen Front (ETO) lackieren, ohne stundenlang recherchieren oder komplizierte Mischungen erstellen zu müssen. Von einer Matilda Mk I bis zu einem Firefly aus den späten Kriegsjahren findet der Modellbauer in diesem Set die richtigen Farben. Alle Farben sind Acrylfarben und für maximale Leistung sowohl mit Pinsel als auch mit Airbrush formuliert und ermöglichen es uns, die richtige Farbe auf unsere Modelle aufzutragen. 4 Gläser à 17 ml. Wasserlöslich, geruchlos und ungiftig. Vor jedem Gebrauch gut schütteln. Jedes Glas enthält einen Edelstahlrührer, um das Mischen zu erleichtern. Wir empfehlen MIG-2000 Acrylverdünner für eine korrekte Verdünnung. Trocknet vollständig in 24 Stunden. Enthaltene Farben:


A.MIG-110 SCC 1A (BRITISH BROWN 1941-42) Tarnfarbe für den Zeitraum 1941-42.
A.MIG-111 SCC 2 (BRITISH 1941-42 SERVICE DRAB) Grundfarbe für den Zeitraum 1942-44. Auch 1941 verwendet.
A.MIG-112 SCC 15 (BRITISH 1944-45 OLIVE DRAB) Wird seit 1944 als einzigartige Grundfarbe verwendet.
A.MIG-113 KHAKI GREEN Nº3 (BRITISCH 1939-42) Grundfarbe für den Zeitraum 1939-41. Auch 1942 verwendet.

Ammo by Mig Acrylic Set - British 1939-45 European Colors

The actual paints in the set perform well with brush or airbrush. You do have to mix them thoroughly, but, the bottles have a metal shaker ball inside that helps loosen up settled pigments. What I was disappointed with is the accuracy of the colors, and some of the names, which are wrong. The set is also incomplete, so you can't do some of the standard schemes, like the 1940 two tone style. SCC1A Brown (the real name) should be much, much darker. Ammo calls SCC2 British Service Drab, which is just wrong, but the color isn't too bad. Khaki Green No 3 looks nothing like the real shade at all, and is 100% dissimilar. Dark Green G4 was the standard camo color on top of Khaki Green, but that is not included in the set. The Ammo SCC15 Olive Drab is much, much, too light and a Bright Green color. Ammo also uses the same paint number for Bronze Green, which the paint is not, either, nor was BG used during WW2. Most of the colors here are useful for other purposes, but I would not buy them thinking they were even "in the ball park" matches to the real shades.

Will be building some more British armor and have just finished the A34 Comet. Mig products don't disapoint.
