Spraygunner provides answer to all my question through live chat, and shipped this item to me the same day I placed the order. Very impressive.
When I received the airbrush, I found the trigger is a little sticky, when I release the trigger, there is still some air coming from the nozzle. I managed to fix it by disassemble the airbrush and lube the trigger and the air valve. After this easy fix, the airbrush works great.
I have been running an H&S Infinity CR+ for about three years. I build scale models and switch between lacquer based and water/alcohol based mediums pretty feequently. Even with the best cleanup I found that I was getting some clogging so I bought the 2024 version to be able to have a lacquer brush and a bush for everything else. I have quickly found that I can actually run both through the new brush without issues! The anticlog genuinely does work! As a professional scale model builder I was finding that I was spending around 20 minutes a day deep cleaning my airbrush but all that time overhead has gone away with the new brush! It’ll pay for itself in no time through billable time rather than cleanup overhead! I just love it! This alone would be enough but the ergonomics are improved and the already great trigger is just better in every way! A simply amazing brush! Well done H&S!!!
Want to start out by saying that spraygunner is an absolute amazing company to order from. The first one they sent to me had a blowback issue from sealing issues in the head assembly and they replace it at no charge.
That being said the second airbrush I got from them had the exact same issues as the first. The head assembly came so tight on the brush that the only way to take it apart was with soft jaw pliers and when put back together at a hand tight level the head assembly blew back bubbles into the cup (again). To fix the issue thread sealer needed to be added in abundance to the head assembly.
For a new product out of the factory at this price point to have these issues at all is insane, but when this thing works it works well and as advertised. The trigger response is much better than previous H+S models and sketching details with this thing is an absolute joy. Also the new trigger is possibly one of my favorites.
Overall- very happy with spraygunner and their responses to issue with the airbrush but to have these issues out of something that is quality tested in factory twice in a row is a bit weird.
