I've been using Iwata airbrushes for the past 20 years. I have a Custom Micron C and an HP-C that I use daily.

Recently, I purchased the Mr. Airbrush PS771 from Spraygunner. This is easily the finest airbrush I've ever shot paint through. And the price point is more than fair. I absolutely love this airbrush!

Just hefting the box, this unit feels substantial, pulling it out of the packaging it's weighty, though not too much, exquisitely finished, and is very intuitive. The trigger is smooth and progressive, easy to modulate, the limiters are confusing, though. The Airbrush sprays beautifully, but, honestly (and I'm sure it's me and my limited talent), it doesn't seem like, for the price, it's miles away better than the ps 290. Yes, it can make very fine lines. But, again, consider the operator, so can the Ps 290. I'm not sorry I bought it, nor will I return it, and it is a jewel at a bargain price compared to other brands.

    Smooth shading lines EVER!!!

This airbrush is what I'm talking about. If you got your paint to thinner ratio down, this airbrush will give you the most crisp pre shading, post shading, highlights ever. This is my main airbrush when I'm working on small parts of Gunpla (head and body panels). You will not be disappointed if you got the cash to throw at this boy.

Works excellent and the only minor issue is the spring hardness. It should come with the softer spring instead of the stiffer one.

    GSI Creos PS771 Mr. Airbrush

I use Harder & Steenbeck mostly, but bought this for the reviews I heard. I really like the H&S for the easy cleanup and quality, but had some fiddly stuff like it spitting paint, bubbles in my cup from bad seals. This airbrush is d**n nice. Huge cup, tiny spray pattern. It's a little heavy. I put a lighter Dru Blair softspring in it and it has more control with the air. I don't like using the wrench to clean the nozzle. The needle seems a bit rough and is loose in the adjustable limiter on the rear. And that piece is plastic. But, the performance blows those small negatives away.
