    Best Createx Reducer

Posted by Victor Rivera on Sep 29, 2021

Locally for some reason I can only find 4012, so for a while that was my go too, but when I started using this one, I was very happy with the extra lead time I get! For some reason on a larger project the 4012 would sort of dry over and give you a false sense of dryness. 4011 DOES NOT. I'm really happy with it.

    4011 16oz

Posted by Ben Blankenship on Dec 02, 2020

I normally use the 4012 but after reading a little more, and researching what’s best for my environment, the 4011 reducer seemed to be more fit for my area. So far so good. Haven’t been able to tell a big difference yet. I have noticed less tip dry and better atomizing. I usually run round 20-30 psi and I’ve not had to use as much of the 4011 as I did with the 4012. I’ma continue to monitor the performance of the 4011 and will update if anymore changes but as of right now I love it!! Another great product from Createx! Can’t go wrong! And Spraygunner always my go to supplier for all my airbrushing needs! Quick shipping! Thanks again!

    Update learned about 4011

Posted by David Stella on Sep 05, 2020

I only gave it three stars because it works great in humid hot muggy climates, but I only through a lot of hours of frustration with it drying my paint literally as soon as I started mixing it with my paint I had to mix as quick as possible transfer to a airtight bottle just to get it to stop removing the water from my paints literally before my eyes, and I for the longest time couldn’t figure it out and following Createx recommendation to add 4030 clear only made the problem worse, but after a lot of frustration I figured something out all of their paints reducer additives instructions are given for humid hot climates, but I live in the high extremely dry desert I’ll tell you it’s so dry where I live that i first started learning to airbrush, I was told that I need to get a water filter particle trap so I bought one that goes on my airbrush, but i never have gotten water out of my compressor it’s a 101 here today and 11% humidity so here’s what Createx Spraygunner doesn’t even have data sheets or even a usage explanation where I found that yes Createx makes a product that will slow down your drying time, it even says it’s used only for dry climates, So I ordered it but haven’t received it yet, I just hope it has some instructions on how when where to use it, and do I only use it or do I use it with 4011, I just wanted to let anybody that might be living in a dry desert climate, and my wife just brought me in my order, and don’t really have any use instructions explaining anything beyond simple generic spraying instructions, that doesn’t help me I need to know how I’m supposed to mix 4030 balancing clear with this i use that in every paint it makes your paint adhere to any surface oh well guess I’ll be finding out by trial and error.
