    Optimal mixing

Posted by David Aprea on Nov 01, 2021

I bought these for my Vallejo Primer bottles. Those primers are notorious for needing a really good shaking before use. These UMOs do an excellent job of picking up the pigments from the bottoms of my paint jars and bottles and spreading them throughout.

    UMO Mixers

Posted by Richard Voss on Oct 07, 2021

First, don’t ever use common BB (pellets) as agitators - bad advice from an on-line forum. Even in CC water base paint they eroded. Now the product review: Great expenditure. Work better than round glass marbles or other round ones available. The unique shape and the weight really stir up the round edges of every size paint bottle. This is my second order of these UMO’s; consider buying the large quantity. Yes, they are reusable, but each bottle deserves at least one (or two).

No-Name Mini Stainless Steel UMOS are AMAZINGLY Awesome

Posted by Kalan Sandberg on Sep 22, 2021

These work wonders in smaller bottles and jars. The shape of them reduces the likelihood of blocking paint coming out of the nozzle for Vallejo bottle and other types as well. Great design, excellent product, and I'll be adding more to my workbench supplies.

    Works great

Works great inside 2oz ,4oz paint bottles gets the metal flake all the way at the bottom in the edges of the bottle. Faster and well mixed paint. Definitely buying more.

    Great mixers

Put them in paint bottles, and they work better than regular steel bearings for mixing paint.

    Good for .5 oz

Posted by ERIC GILNACK on Jul 26, 2021

These work great in little .5 oz and smaller bottles where the big UMOs wont even fit in the opening. Once im done with the color i can just take the UMO out and wipe it off and then its ready for the next color.

    Heavy, dense, and uniquely shaped

Posted by Logan Raethorne on Apr 09, 2021

I went down a rabbit hole some time ago looking for a superior option for paint agitators/mixing balls. To sum up my findings in total would make this a looking review, so in short: For large bottles (1oz or greater) these are excellent. It's important that agitators are not just large, but dense for their size. These are just that. Overkill (and too big() for 15-17ml bottles. For those, check out AMMO by mig's Stainless steel mixing balls. Lastly, according to the fine folks at Spraygunner, UMOs are specifically made of 304 grade stainless. No steel is rust PROOF, but 304 should be stable for most paints.
