Description

Mission Models Paints
Color: Thinner / Airbrush Cleaner

Volume: 4oz

Mission Models high grade acrylic thinner is a very powerful formula. When mixing your paint they recommend a ratio of 20-30% to 1 or in other words  2 to 3 drops to 10 drops of paint. Same ratio for their Primer. These are the ideal ratios for perfect results. Over thinning will cause more transparency in the paint. Once you mix paint to their recommended ratio you can then further mix to suit your needs.

Mission Models thinner is also your airbrush cleaner.

Great thinner. The bottle, not so much.

This is an absolute necessity for Mission Model paints. Just either be prepared to use something to transfer it, or drip all over the place.

    Best for MMP

Best thinner and only one to use for MMP paints, particularly for their primers. A little is all which is needed. Some airbrush dealers recommend 4011 to thin MMP also…Nope, you’ll get a lot of tip dry, use MMP thinner.

    Effective cleaner, too!

Works great at seems surprisingly potent. I've been using 10% with Mission paints. Also works as a cleaner, it even cleaned some stubborn old Model Master acrylic off my airbrush cap that was dried on and clinged to the anodizing. The only nitpick I have is that it is hard to count the drops that come out of the flip cap

With the MMP thinner you only need a few drops and the paint will spray beautifully. i go with 30 drops of paint to 6-7 drops of thinner at 15 PSI
