KBS DiamondFinish Clear is a high gloss, single component, high performance, rock-hard clear coat, designed for direct to metal and painted surfaces.

- DiamondFinish Clear can also be applied to non-ferrous metals including aluminium, alloys, brass, chrome and copper.

I like it, it is very durable I have noticed it has a chemical smell after curing still so Iv reached out to KBS about this. Other than that I’m very happy with it.
I have used it for the last three years. The crank baits are still like new. It is a what I am always going to use.
I use this product to finish coat taxidermy fish. Ive used other clear coats for years and this product gives me a deep wet look second to none and my customers are happy. I spray it on using a Paasche airbrush with a size 5 nozzle. It sprays on easily and is easy to clean up. I will pass this info on to my fellow taxidermists.

KBS Diamond Finish is a very good clear coat that lays down smooth with a .5mm airbrush, spray gun or foam brush. I like to spray KBS with a medium to wet coat as I find this works best for me. Too dry and it leaves more of a matte finish as opposed to the clean clear gloss given when sprayed wet. Overall, I really like the look of this clear coat so I'll certainly be using it through the foreseeable future. Good stuff!
