Description

Createx Airbrush Colors Pearl Pineapple 5311

Enhance your airbrushing skills with the Createx Airbrush Colors Pearl Pineapple 5311. These water-based, acrylic colors are designed with pearlescent powders to give your artwork a stunning finish. The semi-glossy appearance adds a touch of elegance to your creations, making them stand out from the rest.

For a vibrant pearlescent finish, it is recommended to apply a top-coat such as the Createx 4050 UVLS Gloss clear or the 5604 Gloss Top coat. These top-coats are specially formulated to enhance the pearlescent effect and bring out the brilliance of the colors. Your artwork will come alive with a mesmerizing sheen that will impress anyone who sees it.

The Createx Airbrush Pearlized Colors have a semi-opaque coverage, making them best applied over a white, grey, or black base. By starting with these base colors, you ensure that the pearlescent effect is fully visible and has a greater impact on the overall design. The colors are best sprayed using airbrush tip-sizes ranging from 0.3mm to 0.5mm at a pressure of 25 – 40+ psi.

In order to achieve the desired consistency and performance, the colors can be thinned with the 4011 Reducer. This is especially useful when using smaller tip-sizes and lower psi settings. The 4011 Reducer helps you achieve smooth and even coverage, allowing you to create intricate details and achieve the desired effects.

For improved adhesion and durability onto plastics and other hard surfaces, the colors can be mixed with the 4030 Balancing Clear. This not only enhances the performance of the colors but also ensures that your artwork lasts longer and withstands the test of time.

It took a lot of playing around with this Pearl verses the Wicked to get it to atomize properly, and quit clogging, dry tip, etc, it has very large flakes in it, and you have to continually STIR not shake your paint, I finally got it to spray, I went to a .5mm tip, mixed 15% 4030, 20% 4011, 9 drops of Createx Retarder, per1oz. Of paint, it finally sprayed ok, but if you don’t back flush your airbrush between drying, and STIR DONT SHAKE IT, it will spray decent!!
