Createx Wicked High Gloss Black is a definite must have...
Createx high gloss black is a must have in the arsenal of any painter using the Createx line. It lays down great straight from the bottle, mixed with UVLS or reduced with 4011. The color is rich and smooth whether you're shooting with a .2mm airbrush or 1.2mm spray gun. I'm a fan of Createx and will not be without a bottle of this high gloss black. This is great stuff!

Createx High Gloss Black W018
I was very happy with the results I was able to achieve with this paint. Acrylics a flat in nature and it is hard to achieve a true gloss finish. Createx has figured out a great formula. Use the Reducer to thin the paint for use in an airbrush, especially if you’re using a low pressure or a fine needle setting. It self levels extremely well and is perfect for using as a base for their Quicksilver paint. Try it out, I think you’ll like the results too.

It's ... okay
First things first: This *is* a nice glossy black, so it does what it says on the bottle. Still, this is the first thing from Createx I've been disappointed by. The gloss isn't any better, to my eye, than the opaque jet black after clearcoating, so if you're going to clearcoat, why not stick with the jet and save some bucks? The other thing is that this is nowhere near as opaque as I thought it would be. I couldn't get it to make a solid coat over metallic silver base at all. Rather than put on a zillion coats, I think you're better off opaquing with jet and doing a final 1 - 2 coats with the gloss. Createx has a Youtube video on how to use the gloss black & gloss white. I definitely recommend watching that before the first time you use these.

Wicked Gloss Black W018
easy to use, sprays well right out of the bottle, could still use another top coat of gloss if you are looking for a glass shine.

High gloss black
Nice glossy black. It’s somewhat transparent, so it takes several coat to get a nice dark black. Once you get there you’ll definitely have a glossy black. Great base coat for Quicksilver and gold chrome
