Harder & Steenbeck NEW ULTRA 2024 airbrush for new users - it teaches you!

Buy with confidence from Harder & Steenbeck Factory Dealer in USA. You've qualified for the free service of your HS airbrush. Find out more details here (click).

The ULTRA 2024 brings all of Harder & Steenbeck’s huge investments into their engineering over the last 5 years into focus with a game-changing set of features.

It will support your first sessions, and it retains and builds on their reputation for creating highly refined, yet reliable and user-friendly airbrushes which can paint to the very highest level of artistry.

Harder & Steenbeck’s modular system means that if you wish to upgrade your front end to a higher detail set-up later, even the famed FineLine head system from the Infinity airbrush can be used on your Ultra.

The airbrush comes with a new 0.45mm head set, which supercedes the detail capability of the previous 0.4mm headset whilst offering greater user friendliness, and painting versatility. And of course, in true H&S spirit, the new system is fully backwardly compatible for those of you who already own H&S airbrushes.

You’ll enjoy the practicality of the supplied 5ml cup, but if you want to have uninterrupted line of sight for a high detail feature, simply remove the 5m cup and enjoy the integrated micro-cup socket within the airbrush body for small amounts of colour.

It is recommended to use any single-piston compressor capable of running an airbrush up to approximately 25psi.

This is my favorite Airbrush! It beat my Patriot 105 and my Master Class. Good for beginners and masters.

Great for a rookie like me

My first airbrush served me well for years. Even if I only used it a handful of times. This one is better in every way and actually makes me want to use it rather than make excuses not to airbrush.

Interesting

So far I like brush although when attempting to prime with Stynlerez Black the brush would fluctuate on the amount of paint it released at the nozzle. I’d be spraying at a nice even flow rate and suddenly get a rather heavy, wet spurt. Not sure if that was my primer or the brush.

Harder & Steenbeck NEW ULTRA 2024

I used "golden" high flow black paint full strength out of the bottle. 0.45 needle sprayed effortless, no skipping, splatter. Tip dry 20 minutes later was minimal. trigger adjustment control thing was ok but not impressive. I love the one piece trigger assembly...blows away anything Iwata has. brush fits my hand snug, size 6 ring. I am a fine art painter, canvases as big as 4x6 feet. Paintings are hair line precision. The ultra gives me the precision I want. And with a 0.45 needle can lay down the paint without stalling on me. The no frills brush is a keeper

Why H&S didn’t put a removable needle cap on the air cap is beyond me. The Ultra one piece air cap is a nonstarter for me. I suppose you can purchase a two piece unit as used in the Evolution but that’s an add on expense. H&S is getting too cost conscious…they’re also reducing their airbrush offerings…guess they too are feeling the economic pinch. I’ll stick with my Evolutions but they too have been discontinued and replaced with just one with fancy but cheap looking plated hardware
